LPSK Says Bharada E's Condition Can Respond To Laughter, Not In A Worried Condition

JAKARTA - The Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) said that after Bharada E officially received the Justice Collaborator (JC), his condition looked better and healthier.

"As far as we can see, E's condition is physically healthy. He can convey information well," said Deputy Chairman of LPSK Edwin Partogi to reporters, Monday, August 15.

In addition, LPSK also ensures that the guarding of Bharada E is quite safe.

"Actually, the security at the Criminal Investigation Unit is also quite maximum (safe)," he added.

Edwin said that when met by his party, Bharada E did not appear to be in a depressed condition. In fact, Bharada E could still respond to laughter.

"When we provoke him to joke, he can respond by laughing. This means that Bharada E is not in a worrying situation, it is safe," he said.

Previously, fresh air came to Bharada E after LPSK officially protected Bharada E as a Justice Collaborator (JC).

According to LPSK, Bharada E has qualified as JC because he was not the main actor in the case of the death of Brigadier J.

"The first is because the person concerned is not the main perpetrator and the person concerned has expressed his willingness to provide information to law enforcement officials about various facts and incidents in which he is involved as a criminal," said LPSK chairman Hasto Atmojo Suroyo to reporters, Monday, 15 August.

Hasto said, Bharada E is willing to reveal clearly related to this crime.

"Even to people who have a much bigger role than him or his superiors in this crime," he said.

LPSK decided that it would officially protect Bharada E as JC. This decision was made after the LPSK met with Bharada E at the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit last Friday.
