Case Discontinued But Police Still Checking The Truth Of Reports Of Harassment Of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's Wife In Magelang

JAKARTA - The police report (LP) regarding the alleged sexual harassment case against the wife of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, Putri Chandrawathi, has been terminated. However, the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police is still investigating the case as far as Magelang, Central Java.

The Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Kabareskrim) of the National Police, Komjen Pol Agus Andrianto said, the Police visited the location in Magelang to find out the true incident of the case.

"The team is going to Magelang to trace the incident there, so that the incident can be fully described," Agus said in a short message, Sunday, August 14.

He explained that the National Police wanted to trace the series of incidents of Brigadier J's murder that occurred in Duren Tiga, South Jakarta, so that they would continue to investigate cases of alleged sexual harassment against Putri all the way to Magelang.

"That's the sequence of events, right. We can't get rid of it," he said.

When asked about the evidence to be brought from his investigation in Magelang, Agus did not explain in detail.

Furthermore, he said that during the investigation process, Princess Chandrawathi was not brought to Magelang.

"What is certain is that investigators need things. (Princess Chandrawathi) is not brought (to Magelang)," he said.

Before it was reported, the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police stopped the LP for the alleged sexual harassment case reported by Putri Chandrawathi. Including LP alleged threats accompanied by violence. Two prisons were closed because the case of Brigadier J's death due to premeditated murder was considered a criminal matter.

"We consider these two prisons to be part of the obstruction of justice," said the Director of General Crimes at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency, Brigadier General Andi Rian Djajadi, to reporters, Friday, August 12.

The two prison prisons reported by the wife of Inspector General Fedy Smabo were also considered 'obfuscation' of the alleged premeditated murder of Brigadier J. The two prisons were referred to as alibis to cover up Brigadier J's death because he was murdered.

"This is part of an effort to prevent the disclosure of the 340 case (premeditated murder, ed)," he said.
