The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Endra Zulpan said Roy Suryo had been in detention as a suspect since last Friday, August 5.
"There is no such thing. There is no special treatment. He is being held in criminal detention (general criminal)," said Endra Zulpan in Jakarta, Antara, Friday, August 12.
Zulpan added Roy Suryo was detained for the next 20 days at the Polda Metro Jaya detention center. The former Minister of Youth and Sports was also placed in the same cell with other detainees.

Zulpan also emphasized that Roy Suryo received the same food consumption as the other prisoners.
"If a prisoner eats food from the state, the index is the same for all. Unless he is visited by his family, it is allowed," said Zulpan.
Furthermore, Zulpan said that his party also monitored Roy Suryo's health condition during his detention.
