TIP Case Files Pimp And Karaoke Vanesia BSD Delegated To The AGO

JAKARTA - Investigators at the General Crime Directorate, Bareskrim Polri, handed back the case files for the alleged criminal act of trafficking in persons (TPPO) at the BSD Executive Karaoke of Venice, South Tangerang, Banten, to the Attorney General's Office for investigation.

Head of Sub-Directorate III of the General Crime Directorate of Criminal and Criminal Investigation Police Kombes John Weynart Hutagalung said investigators had transferred stage 1 of this case file to the public prosecutor (JPU) after it was declared incomplete (P-19).

"We have transferred stage 1 back to the prosecutor," said John when contacted in Jakarta, reported by Antara, Tuesday, November 17.

Currently investigators are still waiting for information from the prosecutor regarding the completeness of the case file.

He hopes that the prosecutor team can immediately declare the complete case file or P-21 so that this case can be tried in court. "Hopefully P-21 soon," he said.

Previously, the ranks of Sub-Directorate III of the General Crime Directorate of Criminal and Criminal Investigation Police together with the Military Pomdam Jaya raided the BSD Venice Executive Karaoke on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 night.

The search was carried out because it was suspected that there was a criminal act of trafficking in persons (TPPO) with the mode of sexual exploitation during the large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This executive karaoke is known to have been operating since early June 2020. Even Venice BSD facilitates sexual services for its customers.

There are 47 women who work in the executive karaoke from Jakarta, West Java and East Java.

In this case, six people were named suspects, namely three pimps or pimps and three management of the BSD Venice Executive Karaoke company with suspicions of Article 2 of Law Number 21 of 2007 concerning TIP.

A number of pieces of evidence confiscated by Bareskrim investigators included two bundles of receipts, a bundle of 'ladies' vouchers dated August 19, 2020, IDR 730 million which was money for 'ladies' bookings starting from 1 August 2020, three EDC machines and 12 boxes of contraceptives .

Then one bundle of 'ladies' admission forms, one 'ladies' attendance bundle, three computers, one money counter machine, three printers, 14 kimono shirts as worker costumes and two hotel receipts dated 19 August 2020.
