Flight Tickets To Bali Are Expensive, Deputy Governor Cok Ace Asks The Central Government To Cross Subsidies Flights To The Regions

DENPASAR - Deputy Governor of Bali Tjok Oka Artha Ardhana Sukawati (Cok Ace) responded to the high price of plane tickets to Bali. Cok Ace emphasized that this ticket price could have an impact on the level of tourist visits to Bali.

"That's the policy at the center, that's a problem for us so it's a bit difficult for us. We certainly ask the center why flights to other areas can be cross-subsidized by the country, why not in Indonesia", said Cok Ace in Denpasar, Bali, Thursday, August 11.

“Those at the center know (or not), we don't know. Although we have tried to provide input so that plane tickets are given a reasonable price to go to Bali", continued Cok Ace.

According to him, the high price of airline tickets makes tourism actors have to provide compensation in terms of the best quality to serve tourists.

"What is the compensation? Of course with this high price, for tourists, of course, we have to work hard in Bali to improve the quality of the destination", he said.

"Back to the capital, friends, quality is directly proportional to the price. (Guests) pay expensive tickets, then affairs may be difficult, of course, we have to answer with good service and that service, which is the problem now we are here", said Cok Ace.
