Human Skeleton And Torn Trousers Found On The Banks Of The Humbahas River In North Sumatra, Police Are Still Identifying

MEDAN - Police have identified a human skeleton found in a ravine on the banks of the Hopo River, Nagasaribu III Village, Lintong Nihuta District, Humbang Hasundutan Regency, North Sumatra.

Police Chief Humbang Hasundutan AKBP Achmad Muhaimin said the human skeleton had been taken to the Dolok Sanggul General Hospital for the identification process.

"Furthermore, we will carry out an investigation (investigation) process," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, August 11.

The human skeleton was found by local residents on Tuesday (9/8) while trying to fish in the river.

At that time the witness was suspicious of the bones scattered on the river bank. The witness then reported the findings to the police.

After being examined by police officers, a human skeleton was found in the form of a skull, lower jaw, leg bones, hand bones, finger bones and hip bones.

Officers also found the men's trousers were torn and a long-sleeved shirt not far from the location of the skeleton.
