JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has questioned Tin Zuraida, wife of former Secretary of the Supreme Court (MA) Nurhadi, regarding licensing the use of vehicle number plates. This car number plate was used by the suspect Hiendra Soenjoto (HS), PT Multicon Indrajaya Terminal / MIT suspect during his escape.

Tin, who is also a former Expert Staff for Political and Legal Affairs of the Ministry of Panic RB, served as a witness in the investigation of bribery and gratification cases related to cases in the Supreme Court 2011-2016.

"Tin Zuraida was confirmed regarding the licensing of the secret police number which was allegedly used by the HS suspect during his escape," said Acting KPK spokesman Ali Fikri in his statement quoted by Antara, Monday, November 16.

Regarding the vehicle number plates, the KPK also examined the Deputy Secretary for Institutional and Administrative Affairs Kemenpan RB T Eddy Syahputra as a witness for the suspect Hiendra.

"Confirmed related to the position concerned as the Head of General Affairs and HR of the Ministry of Panic RB who managed and prepared the use of official vehicle police numbers for structural positions at the Ministry of Panic RB which were used and found at the time of the arrest of the HS suspect," said Ali.

Previously, the Coordinator of the Indonesian Anti-Corruption Society (MAKI) Boyamin Saiman had also informed that during the escape the suspect Hiendra used a car with a vehicle number plate coded as RFO.

"However, I already suspected that the plate was a bit 'bulging' because it had expired, but it was still used on the streets so that the intention was camouflage so that it was not suspected because if the car was considered a secret official car so it was not used by civilians and that was what was used while in runaway, the car was used by HS, "said Boyamin in his statement in Jakarta, Saturday, October 31.

Apart from Hiendra, the KPK has also named Nurhadi and his son-in-law Rezky Herbiyono as suspects. Nurhadi and his son-in-law are currently in the trial process at the Jakarta Corruption Crime Court (Tipikor).

Nurhadi and his son-in-law were charged with accepting a bribe of Rp.45.726 billion from Hiendra regarding the processing of two lawsuits. In addition, both of them were also charged with receiving gratuities worth IDR 37,287 billion in the 2014-2017 period.

The first lawsuit is the case between PT MIT and PT Kawasan Berikat Nusantara (KBN) regarding the lease agreement for PT KBN's container depot with an area of 57,330 square meters and 26,800 square meters located in the KBN Marunda area kav C3-4.3, Marunda, Cilincing, North Jakarta. . The second lawsuit was between Hiendra Soenjoto and Azhar Umar.

Hiendra together with Nurhadi and his son-in-law in handling the case were included in the DPO status since February 11, 2020.

Hiendra has been arrested by the KPK team in an apartment in the Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD) area, South Tangerang, Thursday, October 29. Meanwhile, Nurhadi and his son-in-law were arrested by the KPK team at a residence in South Jakarta, Monday, June 1.
