JAKARTA - Pollution from motorized vehicles is one of the main contributors to environmental damage, global warming and certainly has a negative impact on health. However, now electric vehicles are emerging as a solution.

How safe is it to use this electric vehicle? By applying quality standards, safety and security factors in use, electric vehicles are highly guaranteed.

"In terms of components, of course, the community must see and choose components that have good quality standards and can be accounted for," said Willty Awan as the speaker of the talkshow on Safe and Environmentally Friendly Electric Vehicles at the Indonesia Quality Expo 2020 which was held by the National Standardization Agency. Electric bicycles or motorbikes of course - in a way that is not much different from electric motorbikes that run on gasoline - have benefits in terms of operating costs. By using this type of vehicle, we no longer need to buy gasoline and carry out maintenance costs such as monthly oil changes, engine tune-ups, replacement of components such as spark plugs, clutch lining and so on.

"And last but not least, the main bonus is a cleaner, environmentally friendly, less noisy environment and a legacy for our children and grandchildren to a better and greener world," said Willty.

Through the Indonesia Quality Expo event, it is hoped that the public will pay more attention to issues related to the environment and make quality standards, especially meeting the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) as a guideline in selecting products for safety and security.
