The Student Who Kicked His Friend's Head Until He Finally Died Was Declared A Suspect

TANGERANG - The police have named a student with the initials R (15) as a suspect in the death of BD (15) at the Daarul Qolam 1 Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes), Jayanti, Tangerang Regency, Sunday, 7 August.

"After checking the crime scene, autopsies and examining 6 witnesses, we determined R as the child of the perpetrator," said the Head of Criminal Investigation at the Tangerang Police, Kompol Zamrul Aini in his statement, Tuesday, August 9.

Zamrul said that suspect R has currently been detained at the Tangerang Police.

"This case is different because it is a minor. In the next 2 weeks, we have to submit the file to the prosecutor's office," he said.

Zamrul also explained that suspect R would be charged with Article 80 paragraph (3) which caused the victim to die, with a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison.

The incident began when the perpetrator with the initials R (15) came to the victim's room, BD (15) to ask his friend Dimas. Shortly thereafter, the perpetrator pushed the door of the room so that it hit the victim.

"It turned out that Dimas was still bathing with the victim. After that (the perpetrator) pushed the bathroom door, it turned out that the door hit the victim, then the victim was angry. After coming out of the bathroom, they immediately fought (strangled each other)," said Rokhman when confirmed, Monday, August 8th.

At the time of the incident, they were separated by their fellow students. So the two of them stopped and separated. But soon after, the victim was alone in the room, she kept talking to herself as if she didn't accept the perpetrator.

"But the victim inside was still chattering or talking to the perpetrator and finally the perpetrator returned to the room to beat the victim. At that time the victim was wearing clothes, the victim was beaten and kicked," explained Rokhman.

After hitting the victim, R left the victim in his room. Not long after, witness Ikhsa came to see BD lying on the floor.

"That afternoon, it was discovered by his roommates that the victim was unconscious and finally reported the ustaz. After that, he was taken to the nearest clinic," he said.

"The victim was taken to the Gita Clinic. Then based on the doctor's statement, BD was already dead. And after that time the victim was taken to the Balaraja Hospital," he continued.

The family who knew about it immediately went to the body of their son. Not long after, he made a report to the Tangerang Police.
