Police Secure Santri Who Beats His Friend To Death At Ponpes Tangerang Regency

TANGERANG - Tangerang Police are still investigating the case of a fight between students that caused death at the Daarul Qolam 1 Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes), Jayanti, Tangerang Regency, Sunday, August 7.

The Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit at the Tangerang City Police, Kompol Zamrul Aini, said that based on his direct vision, the victim's initials BD (15) suffered a number of bruises on his body as a result of fighting with the perpetrator with the initials R (15).

"There are bruises, but for sure we are waiting for the results of the autopsy," said Zamrul via text message, Monday, August 8.

Zamrul said that several witnesses had been questioned. This is done to find out the actual incident of the case.

Furthermore, said Zamrul, the perpetrator has now been secured by the Tangerang Police to undergo the examination process.

"We have secured the witnesses and perpetrators, so far we are still investigating the incident," he concluded.

Chronological

The incident began when the perpetrator with the initials R (15) came to the victim's room, BD (15) to ask his friend Dimas. Shortly thereafter, the perpetrator pushed the door of the room so that it hit the victim.

"It turned out that Dimas was still bathing with the victim. After that (the perpetrator) pushed the bathroom door, it turned out that the door hit the victim, then the victim was angry. After coming out of the bathroom, they immediately fought (strangled each other)," said Rokhaman when confirmed, Monday, August 8th.

At the time of the incident, they were separated by their fellow students. So the two of them stopped and separated. But soon after, the victim was alone in the room, she kept talking to herself as if she didn't accept the perpetrator.

"But the victim inside was still chattering or talking to the perpetrator and finally the perpetrator returned to the room to beat the victim. At that time the victim was wearing clothes, the victim was beaten and kicked," explained Rokhman.

After hitting the victim, R left the victim in his room. Not long after, witness Ikhsa came to see BD lying down.

"That afternoon, it was discovered by his roommates that the victim was unconscious and finally reported the ustaz. After that, he was taken to the nearest clinic," he said.

"The victim was taken to the Gita Clinic. Then based on the doctor's statement, BD was already dead. And after that time the victim was taken to the Balaraja Hospital," he continued. Not long after, he made a report to the Tangerang Police.

"So the victim's family reported it to the police. Meanwhile, our witness has been pushed to the Tangerang Police. The victim's family is also willing to do an autopsy. The witness has all 6 students," he concluded.
