The Emergency Ambulance (AGD) officer who was on duty at the scene immediately took care of the victim.

The process of extinguishing the fire took a long time due to the dense smoke that soared. Firefighters who were dispatched to the location also had difficulty reaching the hotspots which were thought to have originated from the 3rd floor of the building.

"We received news that there was a lot of smoke coming out. The source of the fire was difficult to find because it was covered in thick smoke," he said.
