He explained that BPJS Kesehatan participants who are in arrears in these contributions come from class III, II and class I, with arrears ranging from 1 to 24 months.

To reduce the number of arrears of these independent participants, he said, his party continued to make collection efforts, then socialized the Gradual Payment Plan (Rehab) program to ease the payment of arrears.

According to him, with this Rehab program, BPJS Kesehatan participants who are late in paying their bills can pay their arrears by installments or in monthly installments.

Meanwhile, the total arrears of independent participants under the auspices of the BPJS Health Curup branch office are spread over four districts namely Rejang Lebong, Kepahiang, Lebong and North Bengkulu as many as 66,750 people with the amount of arrears reaching IDR 50.5 billion.

The highest arrears of BPJS Health participants were in North Bengkulu Regency, amounting to Rp. 24.6 billion with 33,893 people in arrears. Kepahiang Regency amounted to IDR 12.8 billion with 17,000 participants in arrears.

Then Lebong Regency was recorded as many as 8,479 people with a total bill of Rp. 6.07 billion and Rejang Lebong Regency as many as 7,378 people with a total bill of Rp. 6.9 billion.
