Chery Says Successfully Selling 2,000 Tiggo 8 CSH Units In A Month

JAKARTA - Chery's new product, Tiggo 8 CSH, which is embedded with advanced technology, has received a warm welcome at the national automotive market. The proof has been ordered by thousands of units.

From the data revealed by the Marketing Director of PT CSI Budi Darmawan, the product has sold 2 thousand units a month and this figure is outside the manufacturer's target of only targeting a thousand units.

"Two thousand units (Tiggo 8 CSH) have been sold, and 600 units have been sent," he said, when met at PIK, Tuesday, June 17.

The man who is familiarly called Budi said that there was something interesting about the buyer of Chery Tiggo 9 CSH. Where half of the buyers came from outside Jabodetabek, and made this brand from China surprised because buyers of electrified vehicles generally have a lot of interest in urban communities.

"This is interesting, from the CSH, the contribution is almost 50 percent of the non-Jabodetabek," he added.

As previously reported by VOI, CSI provides a special price for the first 1,000 buyers of Tiggo 8 CSH, where the price is at IDR 499 million. The special price has been sold out, and CSI is giving back a special price for the next 2,000 consumers to IDR 499 million.

"So far they are happy because after trying it for longer they don't regret it and feel more efficiency," he said.

Chery Tiggo 8 CSH itself is embedded with an ACTECO H4J15 engine with a capacity of 1,500 cc turbo, which is developed exclusively for the fifth generation of the Chery Super Hybrid platform. This machine is capable of generating power of 143 PS and torques of up to 215 Nm and electric motors with a maximum power of 204 PS and 310 Nm torque with very efficient fuel consumption, reaching 76+ Km/liter based on NEDC (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIT) of China which adapts the NEDC standard) testing.

To support the performance of long-distance driving and daily activities, Chery Tiggo 8 CSH is pinned with Lithium Iron Phosphate (Li-Po) batteries that have pocketed IP68 Waterproof certification, extreme temperature resistance -35 degC to 60 degC, with EV mode coverage distances as far as 90 km.
