Update On COVID-19 As Of November 14: New Cases Of 5,272, DKI And Central Java Contributed To The Most Cases

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) releases the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 today. Of the 41,336 specimens that have been examined, the results are 5,272 new positive cases of COVID-19. So that the total accumulated cases since COVID-19 in Indonesia has now reached 463,007 people.

"For recovery, it has now reached 3,000 cases, so the total accumulation has reached 388,094 cases," he was quoted as saying from data from the Ministry of Health, Saturday, November 14.

Meanwhile, the number of COVID-19 patients who were declared dead was 111 people, so that the total has now reached 15,148 people.

Of the additional cases, there are five provinces that have contributed to COVID-19 cases, namely DKI Jakarta with 1,255 cases, Central Java with 1,222 cases, West Java 809 cases, East Java with 256 cases, and West Sumatra with 244 cases.

Meanwhile, for provinces that did not record additional cases, only Gorontalo.

Then for provinces that recorded additional cases of less than 10 cases were Central Sulawesi and West Sulawesi 8 cases, East Nusa Tenggara 7 cases, and North Maluku 6 cases.

For recovered cases, the five provinces with the highest numbers were DKI Jakarta with 1,039 cases, West Java with 472 cases, Central Java and East Java with 230 cases, and West Sumatra with 157 cases.

Meanwhile, there were two provinces that did not record recovery rates, namely East Nusa Tenggara and North Maluku.

Currently, the total number of specimens that have been examined has accumulated to reach 5,022,627, with details of 4,931,711 specimens examined using the real time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) method and 67,909 molecular rapid tests.

"The number of positive results per number of specimens examined (positivity rate) was 14.1 percent," he wrote.

Finally, the number of people suspected of having contracted COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases, was recorded at 61,975 people. Currently, 505 districts / cities from 34 provinces have had COVID-19 cases.
