"After knowing the identity of the victim and the cause of death, the joint team of the Resmob Ditreskrimum of the Banten Police and the Satreskrim of the Serang Police in about 2x24 hours, on Monday (1 August) at around 10:00, succeeded in arresting the perpetrator of the murder on behalf of PW alias ADI (37), the victim's husband, at his rented house in Jati Lio Village, Jatiwaringin Village, Mauk District, Tangerang Regency," Shinto explained in a written statement, Tuesday, August 2.

In this case, investigators managed to secure evidence from the suspect such as plastic sacks, ropes, pillows, cloth and others.

"The evidence that was seized was a white plastic sack, various ropes, cloth, pillows, baby mattresses, some pants and used cloth from the crime scene where the victim's body was found. One unit of the Honda Supra X-125 motorbike, one sheet of red cotton wool mattress, one pillow and pillowcase, a slap rope that is the same as the type of rope found at the scene where the victim's body was found," explained Shinto.

Previously, the woman's body was found in a sack on Jalan Raya Laban – Cerucuk, Tanara District, Serang Regency on Saturday, July 30, at around 08.00 WIB. The sack containing the corpse was piled between the piles of garbage on the side of the road.

The Serang Police, who received the report, immediately processed the crime scene (TKP) and carried out an investigation.
