Investigation Files For 6 Suspects Of The AGO Building Fire Deleted Phase One

JAKARTA - Bareskrim Polri investigators handed over the investigation files of six construction workers suspected of fires at the Adhyaksa Corps building. The first delegation took place this morning.

"Has sent a special phase 1 case file to a group of workers with three case files and 6 suspects at 10.00 WIB," said Karo Penmas, the National Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Awi Setiyono, to reporters, Thursday, November 12.

The files of the suspects' cases were submitted to the investigating prosecutor at the Attorney General's Office separately. The case file is divided into three according to their respective roles.

"For the first case file, 4 suspects, namely brothers T, H, K, and S. Then the second case file for one suspect is brother of IS. And the third case file for one suspect is UAM alone," said Awi.

Meanwhile, the investigation process is still ongoing to reveal other allegations, investigators examined five witnesses. They consist of ASN AGO to architectural experts.

"The joint investigative team examined witnesses. ASN AGO (Karo Planning 2019). Expert from IAI (Indonesian Architects Association). MAI who is the borrower of the PT APM flag, AR supervisor of cleaning service, HS supervisor of cleaning service," said Awi.

In this fire case, the National Police named 8 suspects. 5 of them are construction workers with the initials T, H, S, K, and IS. They were named suspects for violating the no smoking rule in the personnel bureau hall.

While the other 3 namely, UAM as the foreman, R who is the Director of PT APM and the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) of the Attorney General's Office, NH.

The determination of the suspect against UAM was reasoned because they did not supervise the five craftsmen while they were working. Meanwhile, R and NH were named as suspects for making an agreement to use a top cleaner cleaning fluid which is said to accelerate the combustion process.

The suspects were charged under Article 188 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 and Article 56 of the Criminal Code with the threat of 5 years in prison.
