KPU Receives Applications For Opening Sipol Access From 47 Political Parties

JAKARTA - The General Election Commission (KPU) as of July 29 has received requests for opening access to the political party information system (Sipol) from 47 political parties.

"The political parties that have received applications for opening Sipol access as of July 29, 2022 are as follows, 39 national parties and 8 Aceh local parties," said KPU member Idham Holik as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, July 29.

He explained that the request for the opening of Sipol access was from the Golkar Party, the Indonesian Bhinneka Party, the People's Conscience Party, the Crescent Star Party, the Indonesian People's Swara Party, the Prosperous People's Party, the United Indonesia Party, the Democratic Party, the Nasdem Party, the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle. .

Then, the Indonesian Solidarity Party, the Justice and Unity Party, the Ummat Party, the Indonesian People's Wave Party, the Nusantara Awakening Party, the Pandu Nation Party, the United Development Party, the Indonesian Republican Party, the Prosperous Justice Party, the Village Awakening Movement Party, and the Indonesian Change Guard Party.

Next, the Great Indonesia Movement Party, the National Mandate Party, the Indonesian Sovereign State Party, the Labor Party, the Labor Party, the National Awakening Party, the Reform Party, the Sovereignty Party, the Republican Party, and the Indonesian Student Party.

Furthermore, the Pelita Party, the United Nation Party, the People's Party, the Peace of Love of the Nation Party, the Indonesian People's Democracy Party, the Reform Prosperous Peace Party, the Republic One Party and the People's Sovereignty Party.

Meanwhile, the eight local Aceh parties are the Adil Sejahtera Party, the Aceh Party, the Atjeh Beusaboh Tha'at Dan Taqwa Generation Party, the Aceh People's Independent Solidity Party, the Aceh Islamic Party, the Darul Aceh Party, the Aceh Nanggroe Party, and the Reform Trust Party.

The KPU, said Idham, has launched an information system for political parties that will be used to organize the 2024 general election on Friday, June 24, 2022.

According to him, the KPU has determined Sipol as a tool for the registration and verification process of political parties.

The Sipol, he said, was the attributive authority of the KPU which was ordered by Law Number 7 of 2017 that the KPU was given the authority to regulate the implementation of registration and verification of political parties.

The data that must be uploaded into the Sipol application, continued Idham, are the profiles of political parties, political party membership, management and permanent offices of political parties.

Furthermore, he conveyed that in order to expedite the registration process for political parties, the KPU with a passion for service also created a help desk or service help desk that could be accessed by political parties.
