Suspect Nikita Mirzani Can Go Overseas Because Police Don't Do Debarment And Prevention

SERANG - Serang City Police opened their voice regarding the artist, Nikita Mirzani who went abroad with the status of a suspect and was obliged to report the case of the ITE Law and Defamation.

Head of Public Relations of Serang City Police, AKP Iwan Sumantri said that the police did not issue a ban against Nikita. So this beautiful artist is allowed to go abroad.

“So far, the Serkot Police have not issued a ban letter against NM. So he can still travel abroad," said Iwan in his statement seen on Friday, July 29.

Furthermore, Iwan revealed that Nikita had written to the Serang City Police which stated that Nikita's goal was to go abroad for a health check.

Regarding the obligation to report, Nikita has done it for the first time on Tuesday, July 26, at 19.30 WIB. So Nikita is considered cooperative in undergoing the legal process.

“The lawyer has written that his client is abroad for his health. For mandatory reporting on Tuesday, July 26, yesterday. The investigation or examination process for suspect NM will continue while completing his former case," he concluded.

Previously, it was reported that the Head of Information Technology and Immigration Communication at the Class I Immigration Office for Soekarno-Hatta Airport Special TPI, Habiburrahman, confirmed the news that Nikita Mirzani had gone abroad.

Nikita Mirzani is currently a suspect in cases of defamation and the ITE Law. Nikita Mirzani was not detained, but was only subject to mandatory reporting at the Serang City Police, Banten.

"Yes, it is true (to go abroad) based on the data we have it is true. The person concerned made the crossing at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang City," Habiburrahman said when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, July 28.

"Based on the crossing data that we have, the person concerned will cross the country through the Soekarno-Hatta TPI on July 27, 2022 at 11.28 WIB. Based on the blocking system, there are no proposals for prevention from the relevant agencies against those being transported," he continued.
