One Motorcycle Passenger Who Was Hit By A Garbage Truck Belonging To DKI Jakarta DLH On The Busway Line, Finally Dies

JAKARTA - One of the motorcycle passengers who became victims of a garbage truck on Jalan Mayjen Sutoyo, Cililitan, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, finally died, Thursday, July 28, afternoon.

"Yes (died), for the passengers, yes," said Head of East Jakarta Traffic Unit Laka, Iptu Seno Wibowo, Thursday, July 28.

Seno said, the possibility of the victim's death was due to serious head injuries.

"If you look at the motorbike under the car, yes, there must have been a collision on the head too," he explained.

Moreover, the victim's motorcycle with police number B 3272 SNW was also badly damaged because it was run over by a garbage truck belonging to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Environment Agency numbered B 9053 TOR.

Meanwhile, said Seno, the driver of the garbage truck involved in the accident is now being held at the East Jakarta Regional Traffic Unit for further questioning about the incident.

"The driver is still in custody at the office," said Seno.

After the accident, the two were taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital for medical treatment.

Previously, it was reported that a traffic accident occurred between a motorbike and a truck loaded with garbage on Jalan Mayjen Sutoyo, Cililitan, Kramat Jati District, East Jakarta, Thursday, July 28, afternoon.
