Four Debt Collectors In Kelapa Gading Who Tried To Steal A Motorbike, Ran Away Seeing Abang Ojol's Gang Helping Victims

JAKARTA - A man with the initials BRP (29) received physical violence from four people who claimed to be debt collectors in the Kelapa Gading area, North Jakarta, Wednesday, July 27, at 15.00 WIB.

The incident began when the victim wanted to go to Mall Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta. Suddenly he was grabbed by two debt collectors who were riding a motorcycle.

"I was immediately grabbed by two people. I was forced to pull over," said BRP when confirmed, Thursday, July 28.

Not long after, two fellow debt collectors came back. Suddenly hit the victim's face.

"So I was hit in the left jaw, twice, and that was the witness from the people around the location," he said.

Residents who saw the commotion tried to help the victim. Until finally the perpetrators left the location.

"The online motorcycle taxi drivers (ojol) helped me," he said.

The victim admitted that he had no problems with his motorbike or that there were no arrears. This made him furious, because the perpetrators dismissed him.

"I don't understand. Even though I bought a motorbike in cash. That's why I didn't accept the forced dismissal like that, then the second one was beatings," he said.

"The perpetrators also wanted to take my cellphone and wanted to destroy my cellphone because I was videoing it. So they were afraid that there would be evidence," he added.

Meanwhile, the VOI team tried to contact the Kelapa Gading Police Chief, Kompol Vokky Sagala regarding the incident. However, until this news was broadcast, the person concerned did not provide any information.
