Teenage Boy Who Disappeared In Gambir BKB Stream Found This Morning Dead

JAKARTA - Muhammad Aldi (22), the victim who drowned in the West Flood Canal (BKB), Jeling Roxy Bridge, Cideng Village, Gambir District, Central Jakarta, was finally found on Thursday, July 28. The victim was found by the joint SAR team in a lifeless condition with a radius of 1 kilometer from the starting point of the incident. The victim's body has been evacuated to the RSCM.

Based on the information gathered, the victim's body was found on Thursday, July 28 at around 07.11 WIB.

"This morning we found the victim dead and immediately evacuated for the next process," said the Head of the Jakarta SAR Office as the SAR Mission Coordinator (SMC) in SAR operations, Fazzli when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, July 28.

Previously, the search for victims was carried out by a joint SAR team with three search teams. The first team conducted a search using a rubber boat at a distance of 7 km from the scene.

The second team conducted a visual search of the land route with a distance of 6 kilometers from the scene and the third team conducted a search with Aqua Eye and USD and a dive with a radius of 15 meters.

Based on the testimony of eyewitnesses to the incident, the victim was previously seen to have drowned and rose to the surface of the water. However, due to the heavy flow under the BKB River, the victim's body finally sank again and disappeared.

Then, residents reported to the Jakarta SAR office. After receiving the report, the Jakarta SAR Office officers sent a rescue team to the scene with complete water SAR equipment.
