Woman Falls From 6th Floor Gajah Mada Plaza: Victim Comes With Family To Shop, Suddenly Separates

JAKARTA - Central Jakarta Metro Police are still investigating the case of the death of a woman with the initials NA (39) who allegedly committed suicide from the 6th floor of Gajah Mada Plaza, Gambir District, Central Jakarta.

"Currently, we are asking for information as witnesses, starting with the employee who found the victim first," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Komarudin when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, July 26.

Kombes Komarudin said that currently the team is still trying to collect the existing evidence.

"Meanwhile, what was found at the crime scene was that there was a suspicion that a woman had committed suicide," he said.

Based on information on the incident, initially the victim came to Gajah Mada Plaza for shopping purposes. Then the victim came along with his family or brother and nephew for shopping.

"But while shopping, the victim's brother suddenly lost the victim or was separated. Until it was informed that a victim was found falling," said Kombes Komarudin.

From the results of the crime scene, the police found evidence of the victim's sandals on the emergency stairs.

"It is acknowledged by the family that it (the sandal) belongs to the victim. We are still investigating (the case), the victim's husband is currently still being investigated. Initial information that the victim has one of the diseases will be conveyed after the examination is complete," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a woman with the initials NA (39) was found dead horribly after falling from the 6th floor of Gajah Mada Plaza, Gambir District, Central Jakarta, Monday, July 25, evening. 6th floor. The victim is suspected of being depressed because the illness does not go away.

"From the testimony of the witness there, NA jumped from the 6th floor. The victim's belongings that we have secured are only his ID card," Gambir Police Head of Criminal Investigation Unit, Kompol Andika Prasetia, told reporters on Tuesday, July 25.
