Komnas HAM Will Monitor The Process Of Exhumation Of Brigadier J's Grave In Jambi

JAKARTA - The National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) will attend the exhumation process or the excavation of the grave of Nopryansah Yosua Hutabara alias Brigadier J. The goal is to determine whether there are human rights violations behind the bloody incident.

"Our funeral will come," Komnas HAM Commissioner Choirul Anam told reporters on Monday, July 25.

The exhumation process is scheduled to take place in Jambi on Wednesday, July 27, next.

This exhumation was carried out at the request of the family for a re-autopsy. Because, the family suspected that there was an element of premeditated murder behind the death of Brigadier J.

Previously, Anam said that he had pocketed detailed information about the injuries found on the body of Brigadier J.

The information was obtained after the process of requesting information from the forensic doctor team who autopsied Brigadier J was completed.

"We checked the condition of the body before the autopsy and after the autopsy. Next we also checked the character and type of injury. We also got a comprehensive description of the character and type of injury," said Anam.

His party has also received a scientific explanation of the wounds on Brigadier J's body. One of them is a facial scar which was highlighted because it indicated that there was an element of persecution behind the bloody incident.

"Including, for example, if the public is asked why there are several wounds on the face, we will also explore it in great detail. We also prove what kind of evidence, if the proof is shown logically," said Anam.

Nopryansah Yosua Hutabara alias Brigadier J died at the shelter for the Head of the Propam Division of the National Police Inspector General Ferdy Sambo in the Duren Tiga area, South Jakarta, on Friday, July 8.

So far, Brigadier J's cause of death is said to have been involved in a shootout with Bharada RE.

However, the family believes there is an alleged premeditated murder behind it. So, report the allegations.
