Anticipating Limited Parking Areas, DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency Prepares Special Land For Visitors Who Bring Private And Public Vehicles

JAKARTA - To anticipate the limited parking space inside the stadium at the inauguration of the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency has prepared nine parking spaces.

"At these parking locations, there will be 50 school shuttle buses to JIS using a wara-wiri system," said the Daily Executor of the Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Service, Chaidir, as quoted from Antara, Saturday, July 23.

He explained that the school bus shuttle service is provided free of charge, which operates from 09.00-23.00 WIB.

Chaidir added that parking locations for VIP/VVIP/invited guests are provided in JIS. Meanwhile, for public vehicles that have tickets to watch the event, nine alternative parking locations are provided.

A total of seven parking locations are located around JIS, which is located in the Jalan Sunter Permai Raya area, namely at RSPI Sulianti Soeroso, Rukan Nusantara parking lot, Universitas 17 August, Graha YKI, D'Arcici Hotel, ITF parking lot and Ruko Sunter Nirwana.

Then, there are two other parking locations, namely Ancol Carnival and C3 which are behind the Bandar Kemayoran flats.

For parking locations at RSPI Soeroso, Universitas 17 August 45, Graha YKI, D'Arcici Hotel, Ruko Sunter Nirwana, Ancol Carnival and C3, the drop-off point for shuttle bus passengers is on the west side of JIS.

He explained that vehicles parked in parking bag locations around JIS were directed out towards South Sunter Permai Raya via North Sunter Lake. On the other hand, for operational service vehicles parking is provided at BMW Park.

Then, for online motorcycle taxis, pick-up and drop-off points are provided at the bus stop on the west side of JIS.

Meanwhile, visitor access traffic to the seven shuttle bus pick-up points are:

1. From the east, Jl Bisma Raya-Jl. Sunter Permai Raya-Sunter Permai parking location2. From the east, via the port toll road, exit Ancol via Kemayoran-Jl. Benjamin Suaeb-parking location C3 Kemayoran3. From the west through the Port Toll exit Kemayoran-Jl. Benjamin Suaeb-Parking location C3 Kemayoran4. From the south via Jl. Gunung Sahari-Jl. Lodan Raya-Jl. Benjamin Suaeb (parking location C3 Kemayoran) or go straight to the harbor toll road (parking location for Ancol Carnival).

Although parking bags are provided, the DKI Provincial Government (Pemprov) appeals to residents to use public transportation, one of which is TransJakarta because the parking capacity provided is limited.
