Even Though It Is Supported By Anies, Central Jakarta Satpol PP Still Disbands SCBD Gay Children Who Are Still Stylish At Zebra Cross Dukuh Atas

JAKARTA - Exceeding the time limit for gathering set by the authorities, SCBD youths (Sudirman, Citayam, Bojong, Depok) in the Dukuh Atas area, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta were finally disbanded by the Satpol PP on Friday, July 22, night.

From VOI's monitoring last Friday night at around 22.10 WIB, officers dispersed the teenagers who were busy hanging out and making social media content.

Previously, the Central Jakarta Metro Police had set rules for gathering hours until the limit at 22.00 WIB. This is because to avoid disturbances from Kamtibmas and other criminal acts that take advantage of the crowds in the Dukuh Atas area, Central Jakarta.

In addition, the Satpol PP Monitoring Post also gave a warning through loudspeakers so that the teenagers went home immediately because it was late at night.

"For those of you who don't have any interest, you can return to their respective homes because the time is already past 22.00 WIB," said one member of the Satpol PP through a loudspeaker, Friday, July 22, evening.

Confirmed separately, Head of Central Jakarta PP, Tumbur Parluhutan Purba said that the disbandment was directed by the Central Jakarta Metro Police.

"Yes, he carried out this order at the direction of the Central Jakarta Police," he said briefly when confirmed, Saturday, July 23.

Previously, Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria, asked DKI Satpol PP to take action and disband children's activities at Citayam Fashion Week, Dukuh Atas, Central Jakarta if they violate various provisions.

Riza said that the order to disband was carried out for the good of the children. "Don't hesitate to disband children's activities if they violate the rules and ethics," said Riza in a statement in Jakarta, Friday, July 22.

In previous news, DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan emphasized that the Citayam Fashion Show, which is often held in the afternoon and into the evening, at the zebra cross in the Dukuh Atas area, Sudirman, Central Jakarta, is not prohibited.

This contradicts the statement from the Central Jakarta City Government which stated that the "SCBD" youth catwalk (Sudirman, Citayam, Bojonggede, Depok) in the crossing area was prohibited.

"There is a decree, no? As long as there is no letter, then there is no ban," said Anies at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Friday, July 22.

Anies reiterated that there is no official regulation that prohibits activities such as fashion shows at the zebra cross.

"If there is a decree, it means it is a stipulation. If there is no decree, then it is not a provision. The country is regulated through regulations. As long as there are no regulations, there are no prohibitions," he said.
