Transjakarta Switches Routes For Rizieq Shihab's Demo And Return Route

JAKARTA - PT Transjakarta diverted a number of routes around the State Palace and Petamburan areas. This transfer is related to demonstration activities and the return of the leader of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Muhammad Rizieq Shihab.

"In connection with the demonstration which took place today so that the road closure in the KS Tubun and Monas area, impacted Transjakarta operational services which were modified in the form of diversion and route shortening," said Operations Director of PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) Prasetia Budi in his statement, Tuesday, November 10.

Prasetia said this route modification was implemented so that Transjakarta could still mobilize people who still had to do activities. However, he is still advised to always be careful and prioritize the safety of yourself and your family.

The routes that have been diverted are in corridor 1, corridor 2, route 6A, corridor 9, three Jaklingko services, and several stop buses in the Tanah Abang area.

"Apart from this route, all of our services are still running normally and operating situationally. Services will return to normal when conditions are conducive and can be crossed by bus fleets," said Prasetia.

The following are Transjakarta services where route modifications are carried out:

1. Corridor 1 (Blok M - City)

Experienced rerouting in both directions and temporarily did not pass through Monas and Bank Indonesia stops

2. Corridor 2 (Pulogadung - Harmoni)

Experience rerouting for both directions.

3. Route 6A (Ragunan - Monas via Kuningan) and route 6B (Ragunan - Monas via Semanggi)
