Poke The KPK On PLN's Debt Reaching Rp500 T, Mustofa Nahra Insinuated By Denny Siregar When Making Young Wives Guaranteed For Suspension Of Detention

JAKARTA - Social media activist Denny Siregar responded to comments from the People's Party politician Mustofa Nahrawardaya on the financial condition of PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) or PLN.

The state-owned company's debt reached Rp500 trillion. Mustofa asked the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to investigate whether there were allegations of criminal acts in the amount of the debt that was borne by PLN.

"Report the debt to the KPK," said Denny Siregar on his Twitter account, @dennysiregar7, Friday, July 22.

Denny then brought up Mostofa's efforts to suspend detention by using his young wife as collateral. At that time, Mustofa was a suspect in a suspected case of spreading hoax news about the '22 May 2019 riots'.

Previously, Mustofa Nahrawardaya commented on PLN's mounting debt, which was revealed by SOE Minister Erick Thohir.

Mostofa's comments were written on his Twitter account @MNW_MNW_MNW on Thursday 21 July. The member of the General Chairman of the People's Party, Amien Rais, also showed a photo containing a news narration regarding PLN's debt of IDR 500 trillion.

In addition to poking the KPK to investigate, Mustofa also mentioned the Twitter account of the Special Task Force for the Minister of Finance, Yustinus Prasttowo, @prastow.
