In The South Jakarta District Court Courtroom, Inspector General Napoleon Asks Parties Involved In Brigadier J's Case To Confess: Gentle, Don't Give Up

JAKARTA - Former Head of the International Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Napoleon Bonaparte asked the public to continue to support the National Police regarding the incident at the official residence of the former Head of the National Police's Profession and Security Division (Kadiv Propam), Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.

"Please the public continue to support the Polri institution," said Napoleon after the follow-up trial of the alleged abuse case at the South Jakarta District Court, Antara, Thursday, July 21.

Furthermore, Napoleon appealed to anyone involved in the case to be chivalrous and admit his actions.

"Gentle, don't be cynical because there are victims. Whether or not this issue is revealed really depends on the leadership of the Police, honest leadership. But let's continue to support it," he said.

National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has disabled Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, South Jakarta Police Chief Kombes Budhi Herdi Susianto, and Head of Internal Security Bureau Brigadier General Hendra Kurniawan in connection with the death of Brigadier J.

Napoleon welcomed the steps taken by the National Police Chief. However, he cautioned that the deactivation was only temporary.

"Look, temporarily deactivated is different from being replaced, temporarily deactivated can still return. So, let's continue to monitor how this case is progressing," said Napoleon.

The shooting between members of the National Police took place at the house of Inspector General Pol. Ferdy Sambo, at the Duren Tiga Police Complex No. 46, Pancoran, South Jakarta, Friday, July 8 at 17.00 WIB.

The two members were Brigadier Pol. Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat (Brigadir J) Adjutant Drive Caraka (ADV) Wife of the Police Propam Division Head and Bharada E, ADV Head of the National Police Propam Division. The incident resulted in Brigadier Pol. Nopryansah was shot dead with seven bullet holes in her body.
