Marijuana Dealer Who Is Threatened With The Death Penalty Admits To Getting Goods From The City Of Bogor

SOUTH TANGERANG – Jl, AD, BM, and FS, these four marijuana dealers face the death penalty. From the hands of the suspects, the Tangerang Police secured 39 kilograms of dried marijuana ready for distribution.

South Tangerang Police Chief, AKBP Sarly Sollu, said the arrests of the four perpetrators took place in a rented apartment in the Cipinang area, East Jakarta, on Wednesday, July 13, at 03.00 WIB.

"The 39 kilograms of marijuana evidence consists of 36 thirty-six marijuana blocks with a gross weight of 34,968 grams and 91 packages of marijuana ready for distribution with a gross weight of 4,116 grams", Sarly told reporters at the South Tangerang Police, Wednesday, July 20.

Sarly also explained that all the marijuana ready for distribution belonged to JI actors. Ji admitted that he got the item from a person with the initials HD who is now on the wanted list (DPO).

"Jl got marijuana from the suspect HD (DPO) in the Bogor area, to be resold. The cannabis that was successfully secured came from the Aceh - Jakarta - Bogor - South Tangerang network", explained Sarly.

The perpetrators were charged with Article 114 paragraph 2 in conjunction with 132 paragraph 1 or 111 paragraph 2 in conjunction with 132 paragraph 1 of Law no. 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics with a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison or the death penalty.

"The perpetrator is threatened with the death penalty, life imprisonment, or a minimum imprisonment of 6 years and a maximum of 20 years", he concluded.
