DEMAK - The Demak Police Traffic Unit, Central Java, is preparing an alternative route to avoid traffic congestion on the Demak Pantura Line, following the installation of concrete girders for the Semarang-Demak Toll Road in the Demak Regency area.

"From the results of the coordination, alternative roads for small vehicles and motorcycles have been prepared, including alternative routes from Demak to Semarang, which can pass through the T-junction of Buyaran, Guntur, Karangawen, Mranggen, Semarang or Onggorawe, Bulusari, Mranggen, and Semarang T-junctions," he explained.

Meanwhile, vehicles from Semarang to Kudus can pass the Genuk Sari T-junction, Banjardowo T-junction, Bulusari, Onggorawe, and enter the Pantura Demak Line.

"For members to be able to carry out their duties as well as possible, and be able to occupy posts in accordance with those that have been coordinated to help regulate traffic flow to anticipate long queues and congestion when girder beams are installed," he added.
