JAKARTA - The Duren Sawit Police Criminal Investigation Unit is still pursuing the perpetrator of the murder of the woman with the initials Y (19) who died in a boarding house on Jalan Buaran Megah, Klender Village, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta. Police strongly suspect that the killer was someone close to the victim.

"The perpetrator is still being chased. We have got his identity," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the East Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Ahsanul Muqaffi when confirmed by VOI, Monday, July 18.

According to Ahsanul, the identity of the perpetrator was known based on the testimony of witnesses at the crime scene (TKP).

"The victim's initials Y and the perpetrator are dating, so this morning there was a scream. It looks like the victim and the perpetrator had a fight," he said.

Meanwhile, from the findings of the facts at the crime scene, continued AKBP Ahsanul, his party has pocketed the identity of the perpetrator and is still chasing him.

"There is already (the identity of the perpetrator)," he said.

The results of the crime scene and identification of the victim's body, found bruises on the victim's body and genitals.

"If we look at the facts at the crime scene (there were wounds) on the neck and genitals (of the victim)," he said.
