AKBP Wahyudi explained that the incident began when the suspect was about to go to the night market which is about 500 meters from his residence at 20.00. However, when they arrived at the location, the perpetrator saw his wife playing gambling in the shop.
"Seeing this, the suspect immediately ordered his son with the initials RKK so that his wife, who is also the victim, went home. The victim immediately left the location for her house", said AKBP Wahyudi, Monday, July 18.
However, at 22:00, the victim returned to the location of the shop. Seeing this makes the suspect emotional.
"The suspect felt emotional because his wife rejoined sitting with several men in the shop. The suspect then went back to his house", he explained.
Next, the suspect, who was in an emotional state, took a chisel and put it in his jacket pocket. Then, he went to the shop where his wife gambled.
"Arriving at the shop, the suspect saw his wife chatting happily with several men in the shop. At that time, the suspect pretended to sit down and ordered sweet tea from the shop owner, but before the order arrived, the suspect approached the victim and stabbed him in the neck 3 times using the chisel he was holding in his right hand", he said.
"After that, the suspect immediately left the shop. However, because the suspect was still holding the chisel, the residents in the shop did not dare to arrest the suspect", he continued.
