The Marriage Of A Member Of The DKI DPRD's Child In Setu Babakan Has Not Caused Traffic Jams

JAKARTA - Jagakarsa Sub-district Head, Santoso ensured that traffic flow around Setu Babakan is still smooth despite the event of the son of DKI Jakarta DPRD member Haji Purwanto at the Betawi Cultural Village in the area on Saturday (16/7).

"For the situation until noon there is no traffic jam. So there is no need to divert the road," said Jagakarsa Sub-district Head, Santoso when contacted, Jakarta.

According to Santoso, there is no need for road diversion because there are already security officers from the sub-district who provide directions to road users on Jalan Moch Kahfi II and its surroundings.

As for the security officers on guard, namely elements from the Satpol PP and the Transportation Service, there are 40 people, said Santoso.

Security officers direct guests to park two or four-wheeled vehicles to the Setu Babakan Betawi Cultural Village and Al-Jannah Mosque.

In addition, Santoso also mentioned that the committee for the party of DPRD members was also spread over several locations to help regulate the smooth flow of traffic.

Not only helping smooth traffic, Santoso said the committee also distributed a number of roses at the T-junction of Jalan Soursop.

"The idea for the flowers came from Bang Haji Purwanto and as a form of apology for road users if someone is disturbed during the celebration," he said.

The children's wedding reception from members of the Gerindra faction of the DKI DPRD was held by carrying out Betawi customs which started from 10.00 WIB to 23.00 WIB.
