The Perverted Man Who Was Arrested On A Transjakarta Bus Turns Out To Often Do Actions At The Mall, Now He's A Suspect

JAKARTA - The Head of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Commissioner Budhi Herdi Susianto, said that the immoral perpetrators on the electric train (KRL) with the initials IP (26) and the Transjakarta bus who were arrested on Friday, July 8, have become suspects.

"The suspect with the initials IP alias MIIDB is 26 years old", said Budhi, quoting Antara, Monday, July 11.

Previously, TransJakarta arrested IP while using TransJakarta services at the Grogol Bus Stop, West Jakarta on Friday, July 8.

Then the IP was taken to the West Jakarta Metro Police and then transferred to the South Jakarta Metro Police for further investigation.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Ridwan Soplanit, said the man had committed the action three times in different places.

"Twice in the Central Jakarta area mall and the Tebet KRL", Ridwan said separately.

Ridwan previously said that his party had detained the perpetrator and then the suspect's mental condition would be examined.

"The perpetrator's confession has been carried out three times in different places. Next, we will check his psyche", said Ridwan.

Ridwan added that the perpetrators could be charged with Article 10 in conjunction with Article 36 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 44 of 2008 concerning Pornography and/or Article 281 of the Criminal Code with a criminal threat, in the form of imprisonment for a maximum of two years and eight months.
