JAKARTA - Police are still pursuing the perpetrators of sexual abuse of a 7-year-old boy in the Kebayoran Lama area, South Jakarta. The perpetrator is a taxi driver with the initials A. Ironically, the perpetrator is a neighbor of the victim.

The Head of PPA for the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Mariana, said that it would open up opportunities for the issuance of the wanted list (DPO). However, he emphasized that his party would try to catch the perpetrator first.

"We are still working on it, that's the last attempt of the DPO," Mariana told reporters at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Friday, July 8.

When asked when the DPO would be issued, Mariana admitted that she did not know further. But he admitted that he would try to catch the perpetrators.

"(We) have no problems, we are still trying," he concluded.

Previously, it was reported that the Head of the Indonesian Child Protection Agency (LPAI) Seto Mulyadi or commonly called Kak Seto got the South Jakarta Metro Police. The goal is to ask the perpetrators of the sexual harassment case against a 7-year-old girl in Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta to be arrested.

"We also entrust this so that it can really be captured at all costs, if necessary. There is information that we will convey. So the South Jakarta Police are very serious about immediately arresting the perpetrators who are still running away," Seto told reporters at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Friday, July 8.

A taxi driver, Ali Suyanto (50) is suspected of molesting a 7-year-old girl with the initials FR. The crime occurred at the perpetrator's rented house in the Kebayoran Lama area, South Jakarta.

N (34) as the victim's mother explained that the sexual abuse incident allegedly occurred on Tuesday, June 28, in the morning.

"In 11 o'clock, 10 o'clock. 10 o'clock. That day too, last Tuesday. The culprit (the neighbor himself) was a taxi driver," N said when met at his home, Wednesday, June 29.

N explained that the incident was known to him when the victim confessed to his first brother that he received indecent treatment from the perpetrator.

Not long ago his sister came, kept saying this, 'kak, I'm bleeding. Then he said, where to see. I don't want to, he said. It was immediately covered in pants, running to me (N)," said N.

Shortly thereafter, FR approached his mother and told her what she was experiencing.

"Well, when I got here, I got out of the bathroom, she was like this,'mother, mother, I'm bleeding'. I have negative thoughts, right. Bleeding why? Try to explain why. In fact, crying," he continued.

N, who was emotional, immediately contacted the head of the local RT. Then he was advised to report it to the police. This is done for further action.
