Kompol Syarifah said the man who was found dead on the sidewalk near the Cakung flyover was the victim of an accident. The victim was first discovered by local residents on Friday at around 23.00 WIB.

"When the vehicle fell, the motorcyclist got up and left the victim at the scene," he said.

As a result of the accident, the victim suffered injuries to the legs and face. The victim died at the scene and was taken to the Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) in Central Jakarta.

"There are abrasions on the legs, abrasions on the cheeks, they have been taken to the RSCM. The victim is still being investigated (for his identity) around the age of 20," he said.
