President Jokowi Leaves For Semarang, Will Attend Bhayangkara Day Commemoration

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) left for Semarang City, Central Java, to attend the 76th Bhayangkara Day commemoration on Tuesday, July 5.

According to information from the Presidential Secretariat quoted by Antara, Monday, July 4, Jokowi and his entourage had taken off on the Presidential Aircraft Indonesia-1 from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, at 17.40 WIB.

Upon arrival at the Ahmad Yani Army Main Air Base, Semarang City, the President, and his entourage will go directly to the hotel where they are staying overnight.

Jokowi is scheduled to attend as well as become Inspector of the 76th Bhayangkara Day Commemoration Ceremony at the Indonesian Police Academy, Semarang City.

After that, the President is scheduled to visit the Peterongan People's Market, Semarang City, to deliver several social assistance to beneficiary communities and traders.

First Lady Iriana Jokowi accompanied the President on the working visit to Semarang.

In addition, the Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono, Presidential Military Secretary Marsda TNI M. Tonny Harjono, and the Commander of Paspampres Major General TNI Tri Budi Utomo.
