Prabowo: Jokowi's Government Is Considered By Many Countries In The World To Successfully Handle The Pandemic And Control The Economy

MALANG - Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto emphasized that Indonesia is one of the countries that has succeeded in facing the pandemic and controlling the economy in the midst of all the great challenges that exist in the world today. According to Prabowo, this is a manifestation of national resilience.

Prabowo said internationally, that Indonesia under the leadership of President Joko Widodo is considered to have good national resilience because it can control the COVID-19 pandemic and the economy.

"The government of Joko Widodo is judged by many countries in the world. We are considered to be a country that has successfully faced a pandemic, has succeeded in controlling the economy in the midst of such great challenges," he said after giving a general lecture on National Resilience in the Working Meeting of the Forum of Deans of Social Sciences at State Universities in Indonesia (Fordekiisi) at Brawijaya University (UB) Malang quoted from a written statement by the Media Team of Prabowo Subianto, Monday, July 4.

Prabowo in the public lecture conveyed the importance of national security for academics. This is related to Indonesia's position in international politics.

According to Prabowo, Indonesia's national resilience and the potential of the nation's current superiority are very important to be known and studied by academics and future generations.

"I think it is very important, especially among scholars, and academics, to understand our position properly. We are a very large country, very rich, and we have been quite successful," Prabowo said.

"A large country like Indonesia has the advantage of being able to build national resilience with superior human resources," he said.
