SURABAYA - PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) Surabaya City sent campaign fleets around the village. This step was taken to strengthen public voice support for the candidate for Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Surabaya, Eri Cahyadi-Armuji.

Chairman of the Surabaya City PDIP DPC, Adi Sutarwijono, said that each fleet has a strength of 10 people. With the implementation of strict health protocols, Armada was equipped with a loudspeaker as well as a campaigner who gave speeches around the village.

"Our land movement (PDI Perjuangan) is getting bigger and bigger. Today, security personnel are deployed in 15 sub-districts. While traveling, they distribute flyers and stickers," said Adi, his nickname, Monday, November 2.

The campaign around the village, said Adi, will be implemented every Sunday or holidays. "PDI Perjuangan will move on until the end of the campaign," said Adi.

He explained, the campaign agenda for candidate pair Eri Cahyadi-Armuji was very solid. The Mayor of Surabaya who is also the Chairperson of PDIP Tri Rismaharini (Risma) has also stepped in as a campaigner in the last few days.

"Mrs. Risma became a mascot. As the Chairperson of the PDI-P DPP, Mrs. Risma was called to win Eri-Armuji, as instructed by the Chairperson of the PDI Perjuangan, Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri. Our determination is to win boldly on 9 December," said Adi.

The campaign around the village complements the Eri-Armuji candidate pair campaign method. Apart from face-to-face campaigns, also door-to-door, door-to-door campaigns.

"Early this November, all witnesses will campaign from house to room. Knock on the doors of residents, invite Eri-Armuji to vote, and invite residents to the TPS and vote number 1," said Adi.
