COVID-19 Update As Of June 30: New Cases 2,248 From Examination Of 79,384 Specimens

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 79,384 specimens were examined with the results of 2,248 new positive cases of COVID-19.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,088,460 and active cases have increased by 616 to 16,790", said Ministry of Health data, Thursday, June 30.

Banten has 238 new cases and a total of 297,117 cases. Then, East Java with 113 new cases and a total of 578,088 cases.

The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 1,090 recovered cases. Followed by West Java with an additional 222 recovered cases, East Java with an additional 115 recovered cases, and Banten with an additional 72 recovered cases.

In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 100,820,965.

"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week is 3.35 percent", it wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 5,211 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.

To date, 201,472,856 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 168,980,896. people underwent a second dose of vaccination.
