Man Burns House Paid Rp150 Thousand: Police Investigate Mastermind Of Burning House In Cipinang Muara

JAKARTA - A man with the initial T did not move when he was secured by residents at the RW 014 post, Cipinang Muara, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, Sunday, June 26, yesterday.

The man with the initial T was caught by residents while burning a house in the RW 014 Cipinang Muara area.

In his action, T admitted that he was given wages by someone with the initials J to burn the house. Each house that is burned is calculated at Rp. 150,000.

The man with the initial T had burned down two residents' houses using kerosene and matches. Luckily, before the fire grew and spread, the perpetrator's initials T was caught and arrested by local residents.

When caught, the perpetrator was almost judged by local residents for his actions. To avoid vigilante action, the perpetrators were immediately taken to the Jatinegara Police for further proceedings.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Jatinegara Police, Iptu Zulkasman, confirmed that the man who was detained by residents was suspected of being involved in the house burning case.

As of now, Monday, June 27, police officers are still conducting investigations at the Jatinegara Police in order to reveal the identity of the person who ordered the perpetrators to burn down the residents' houses.

"It has been secured at the Jatinegara Police. The perpetrator was one person," he said briefly, Monday, June 27.
