Loh Kok Tum Band Holds Indonesia Tour Around Next Year, From Medan To Balikpapan

JAKARTA - Sukses menggelar tour di lima kota baru-baru ini, Loh Kok Tum Band bersiap melanjutkan perjalanannya lewat turi ke ten kota dengan natul 'Loh Kok Tum Band Keliling Indonesia' pada 2025 mendatang.

The music projects consisting of Marcello Tahitoe, stere Item (Andra and the Backbone), Yuke Sampurna (Dewa 19), Eno Guitara (NTRL), Magi Trisnandi (/rif), and Reno Fahreza (Nevach) will visit Medan, Pekanbaru, Padang, Palembang, Lampung, Solo, Semarang, Lombok, Banjarmasin and Balikpapan.

The location for the upcoming tour is different from the previous tour, namely Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, and Bali.

Although Loh Kok Tum Band has not released original works, they received good reviews during the tour. This is the basis for continuing their journey to other cities.

"From the enthusiasm in the previous five cities, it turns out that someone wants to take us to other cities," said Marcello Tahitoe alias Ello during a press conference in Sudirman, Central Jakarta, Friday, December 27.

Meanwhile, the Loh Kok Tum Band Tour Around Indonesia will be held in collaboration with Svara Maxima and Askara Nation.

Yuke Sampurna as the initiator of this music project said the personnel would appear to be having fun on stage, different when appearing with their original band.

"We want to have fun on stage, from the habits of each band. We want to give a different taste to the audience," said Yuke.

Eno also invited music lovers throughout the city who were visited to enjoy the Loh Kok Tum Band performance. There, the audience will see the personnel doing things that have never been done on another stage.

Maybe people have never seen Magi other than playing drums, Yuke can even dance on stage. "I too, maybe people see I'm just playing drums, but here I can play bass," said Eno.

Meanwhile, Loh Kok Tum Band Around Indonesia is planned to start at the end of January 2025. Further information will be reported in the near future by the organizers.
