JAKARTA - The Chief of Naval Staff (KSAL) Admiral Yudo Margono reminded the Navy (AL) cadets to give the best service to the Indonesian Navy, nation and state.

This was emphasized by KSAL Yudo to the cadets when they closed their education and at the same time graduated 107 AAL Cadets Batch of 67 in 2022 at the Maspardi Building, Kesatrian Naval Academy (AAL), Bumimoro, Surabaya, East Java, Friday, June 24.

"Competing to offer the best service and to be of maximum benefit to the Indonesian Navy, the nation and our beloved country. You don't have to knock each other down to win," Yudo said as quoted by Antara.

On the one hand, it builds friendship and brotherhood among alumni, while on the other hand, they also compete because they have careers in the same field at the same time and at the same level.

"So that competition does not damage brotherhood and can work to give the best, believe that God's provisions and destiny will not be confused. With that belief, you will not become arrogant if you succeed, despair if you fail, and be jealous of the success of other friends," said Judo to the cadets.

This tupdik and graduation ceremony marked the end of the education of 107 AAL cadets Batch of 67 in 2022, consisting of 39 Marine Corps and a National Defense Academy (NDA) education in Japan, 14 Engineering Corps, 14 Electronics Corps, 15 Corps Supply, and 25 Marine Corps men.

KSAL Yudo wore a medal, while the Governor of AAL, Rear Admiral of the TNI, Denih Hendrata, presented a D-4 diploma (equivalent to S-1) with a bachelor's degree in applied defense (S.Tr.Han).

The cadets participating in the closing of this education are those who have been successfully educated, trained, nurtured, and trained, both physically, mentally, and academically, for 4 years at AAL's Bumimoro campus.

The end of his education period at AAL is the beginning of a long series of assignments and real service as a Navy officer.

In addition to obtaining a bachelor's degree in applied defense, AAL cadets will also be entitled to the rank of second lieutenant after being sworn in and inaugurated by President Joko Widodo at the Prasetya Perwira ceremony with his colleagues from the Military Academy (Akmil) cadets, Air Force Academy (AAU) cadets, and the Police Academy. Candidates for officers who become the best graduates and are entitled to the Bintang Adhi Makayasa award are Sermatutar (F) Elang Tri Esthi Fitrananda, S.Tr. (Han) was born in Surabaya, January 9, 2000, the son of Edhi Tri Esthi M and Ny. Donata Murtis.

Meanwhile, those who won the best thesis and were entitled to the Adhi Pratama Karya award were Sermatutar (E) Arum Safitri, S.Tr. (Han) was born in Malang, January 8, 2000, the son of Sadali and Ny. Yatun.

Kasal said that in Bumimoro, AAL cadets were prepared to become new Jalasenas who have figures as leaders who are characterized, professional, adaptive, visionary, innovative, and committed.

"Today is a moving and happy day because the cadets are declared to have finished receiving all the provisions to become a Navy officer," he said.

Closing education and graduation is not the end of the struggle, it is the starting line for the real world of cadets.

"Your service to the country through the Navy will begin when you are appointed as officers and carry out assignments," said Kasal.
