KUDUS - A request for a recommendation for an interim replacement (PAW) for members of the Kudus Regency DPRD from the Gerindra faction was returned by the local General Elections Commission (KPU). The letter was returned because it was not in accordance with the provisions.
"We received the PAW recommendation letter from the Kudus DPRD on 20 June 2022, while we returned it on Thursday (23 June)," said Kudus Regency KPU chairman Naily Syarifah in Kudus, Central Java, Friday 24 June.
The return of the letter was caused because it was not in accordance with KPU Regulation number 6/2019 regarding Amendments to KPU Regulation Number 6/2017 concerning Interim Replacement of Members of the DPR, Regional Representatives Council, Provincial DPRD, and Regency/City DPRD.
