Wow! 11-year-old Girl In Cilegon Molested By Her Mother's Lover

CILEGON – DK, a 46-year-old man, a resident of Cilangkil, Cilegon City, has become a suspect in cases of sexual abuse of minors. DK was arrested by the Cilegon Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) after the victim made a report.

"It is true that the suspect DK has been arrested, the perpetrator of the crime of sexual harassment or sexual immorality against a minor at his home in Citangkil District, Cilegon City on Thursday (23 June)," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cilegon Police AKP M Nandar in a written statement, Friday, 24 June.

Nandar explained that the abuse occurred when the 11-year-old victim was playing with his cellphone in his room. Then, still said Nandar, the victim was hugged from behind by the suspect DK. It is known, DK is the victim's mother's lover.

"The perpetrator's actions were known by the victim's mother, when her son told the story he was playing with his cellphone in his room, the suspect DK was hugged from behind. Then the suspect touched the victim's vital organs or sensitive parts," said Nandar.

After hearing her son's confession, the mother did not accept and immediately reported her lover to the police.

"The victim's mother reported the perpetrator to the local RT and RW, then the victim's mother reported the incident to the Cilegon Police for follow-up," said Nandar.

Nandar also said that his party had secured witnesses and evidence for further investigation.

"There are a number of pieces of evidence that ensnared the suspect, because of his actions, namely the victim's clothes, the results of the post-mortem, and witness statements that strengthen the evidence." Nandar explained.

The perpetrator was charged with Article 82 of Law Number 17 of 2016 concerning the stipulation of a government regulation in lieu of Law No. 1 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law No. 35 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law no. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection with the threat of a minimum sentence of 5 years in prison and a maximum of 15 imprisonment.
