SBY And JK Meet In Cikeas To Discuss The Future Of The Nation

JAKARTA - The 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) held a meeting with former Vice President Jusuf Kalla in Cikeas, Bogor, West Java.

SBY's personal staff, Ossy Dermawan, said that during the meeting the two national figures discussed the future of Indonesia.

"Today, June 23, 2022 at 09.45 WIB, former Vice President Mr. Jusuf Kalla met with Mr. SBY in Cikeas," said Ossy in his statement to reporters, Thursday, June 23.

According to Ossy, SBY and JK reminisce about the times when they carried out the people's mandate. It is known, both of them had been president and vice president in the period 2004-2009.

"The meeting between the two friends took place in an atmosphere full of intimacy, while reminiscing about the past together when carrying out the people's mandate," said Ossy.

In addition, Ossy said, the two also exchanged ideas about the fate of the Indonesian nation in the future. The meeting, he said, was full of intimacy.

"In the meeting, there was also an exchange of ideas and views regarding the future of our nation and country," said Ossy.

"Although both of them are no longer active in daily political activities, they are still called upon to participate in thinking about the path to a better and more prosperous Indonesia," he continued.
