Hasto Reveals Many People Who Want To Join PDIP

JAKARTA - Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto revealed that many figures want to join his party.

Although he did not specify who the figures were, Hasto confirmed that he would first accept those who have not joined other parties in order to maintain good relations.

"Yes, there are those from the independents, we prioritize those from non-parties. As for fellow parties, yes, we maintain good relations," Hasto told reporters at the PDIP DPP Party School, Lenteng Agung, Jakarta, Wednesday, June 22.

In addition, Hasto ensured that his party would strictly select those who would join. Including, explore their reasons.

After passing the selection, they will be given briefings for the figures who want to join.

In this process, later they will be given knowledge about the rules that exist internally to the ideology of PDIP. "We trained first, after being trained we asked whether you really want to join PDIP," he said.

"We are careful about this. What is the motive for joining PDIP? How about AD/ART, how to understand ideology, we teach," added Hasto.

As for other party cadres who want to move to PDIP, Hasto will ask them to solve their problems first.

"If there is an internal problem, mbok, yes, the internal problem should be resolved first, it's the PDI-P, not even further enlarging the internal problems of other parties, because we do not intend and do not like the intervention of the sovereignty of political parties," he concluded.
