Ganjar Denies Accepting And Responding To A Letter Of Recommendation For A Presidential Candidate From NasDem

JAKARTA - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo denied receiving a letter of recommendation for a presidential candidate (candidate) in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) from the NasDem Party.

Ganjar said he had not received any letter from the party created by Surya Paloh.

"Oh, not yet (received a letter of recommendation from the NasDem Party, ed)," said Ganjar to reporters at the PDIP DPP Party School, Lenteng Agung, Jakarta, Wednesday, June 22.

Ganjar also denied that he had responded to the letter.

"No, no. Not yet. Nothing," said the PDIP cadre.

"I respect parties," added Ganjar.

As previously reported, the chairman of the NasDem DPP, Willy Aditya, said that the candidates had received letters of recommendation. There were three names that received, namely DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan, Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo, and TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa.

Willy's confession, the three gave different responses. "Some thank God, some thank you, some smile amazingly," he said at the NasDem DPP office, Gondangdia, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, June 22.

Even so, Willy said, all three of them welcomed the recommendation of the NasDem National Working Meeting.

"What NasDem has given is accepted with grace by the candidates. For that we are also grateful and want to welcome. Hopefully things will continue like this," he said.

Ganjar's name is one of the presidential candidates announced at the NasDem National Working Meeting, Friday night, June 18. He was elected by 29 DPW NasDem Party.
