Polda Metro Prohibits All Muslim Khilafatul Activities

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya prohibits all activities or activities related to the Khilafatul Muslimin organization. The reason is that the organization adheres to an ideology that is contrary to Pancasila.

"We have ordered the ranks to no longer carry out Khilafatul Muslimin activities in the Polda Metro area," said Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Endra Zulpan to reporters, Wednesday, June 22.

Teaching and learning activities in schools and Islamic boarding schools belonging to the Khilafatul Muslimin should also not be continued. The reason is the same, because the place of learning becomes a medium for spreading the understanding of the caliphate.

"So it's no longer there, because what they did, both Islamic boarding schools and schools, was answered yesterday in our joint meeting with the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Religion, PBNU and Muhammadiyah, that the school is not registered," he said.

In addition, Zulpan said that in the near future he would convey the developments in the handling of the Khilafatul Muslimin case. Because, there are new facts obtained.

"Maybe for the next few days we will also have another release related to the development of the handling," said Zulpan.

In the case of Khilafatul Muslimin, there are 6 people who have been named as suspects. They included Abdul Qadir Hasan Baraja as the supreme leader of the Khilafatul Muslimin who was arrested in Bandar Lampung.

Then, the US was arrested in the Mojokerto area, on Monday, June 13. He is the organization's minister of education.

The other four people with the initials AA, IN, F, and SW are called important figures in the Khilafatul Muslimin group.
