Junior High School Student In Langkat, North Sumatra Found Decayed Dead, Suspected Of Being A Victim Of Rape And Murder

MEDAN - The body of a teenage girl in junior high school clothes named Alda Septianda Sari was found half-decomposed on land owned by PT Pertamina in Pangkalan Brandan, Puraka II Village, Sei Lepan District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra. She was found dead after being declared absent from home on Wednesday, June 15.

Head of Public Relations for Langkat Police, Iptu Joko Sumpeno, explained that the victim was first discovered by 2 cowherds named Ruslan (40) and Jefri (35). The witness recognized the body after smelling an unpleasant odor while passing by.

"The witness saw in the bushes the body of a girl", said Iptu Joko, Wednesday, June 22.

When found by witnesses, the victim's head had become a skull and the back of the head had been broken. In addition, the victim's underwear was also seen only stuck in the left leg.

"The head has become a skull and the skull has ruptured at the back, the left temple, and the forehead", he said.

"The victim's underwear was open above the victim's chest and was still wearing school clothes. The condition was that almost the entire body had maggots and the head of the corpse had 5 pieces of stone fragments", continued Iptu Joko.

Seeing the student's body, witness Jefri immediately contacted the head of the neighborhood and continued to report to the Pangkalan Brandan Police.

"Furthermore, the Pangkalan Brandan Police Chief went to the TKP and took the student's body to Bhayangkara Hospital, Medan for an autopsy", he explained.

Iptu Joko explained that the identity of the victim was recognized by the victim's parents from the clothes the victim was wearing.

"From the results of the crime scene, the victim is suspected to be a victim of rape and murder", said Iptu Joko.
